Gabriel Dessauer directs the International Reger Choir at St. Bonifatius Church in Wiesbaden in this 28-minute work that compares to the Brahms Requiem in quality. Dessauer, organist at St. Bonifatius, lectured on the work and introduced the newly-published score at the 2004 AGO Convention in Los Angeles. François Callebout prepared this arrangement for organ and choir from the original version for orchestra and choir. On this CD, Ignace Michiels plays the organ accompaniment. (Order the score in the sheet music department. It will be found alphabetically under "Reger".)
