Michel Corrette Concertos, Opus 26 for Organ and Orchestra

Michelle Corrette (1707-1795) played a prominent role in the adoption of the concerto form in France. The six concertos of Opus 26 were published in 1756. This modern edition is edited by Pastor De Lasala with a preface by Yves Jaffrès. Parts are included for Violins I, II and III, Viola, and 'Cello, as well as flute parts in concertos 3 and 6. With the exception of No. 3, the concertos may also be performed on organ alone. All of the works may be played on harpsichord or organ.
